Air Duct & Vent Cleaning Kansas City, MO
Air ducts and vents, left unattended, can be a breeding ground for mold and mildew, a final resting place for deceased rodents, birds, vermin and bugs and a storage center for pollen, pet dander, dust mites and other allergens that are redistributed back into your home each time your heating and cooling system kicks on.
The build up of dust and debris can also cause extra wear and tear on your equipment leading to breakdowns, increased repair bills, increased energy usage and a shorter life expectancy.
Eric Kjelshus Energy Heating and Cooling offers a comprehensive air duct & vent cleaning service with deodorizing and sanitizing options for additional protection. These services help removed unwanted odors from the homes air duct system and help ensure that no lingering bacteria or mold are living in your duct work.
Our air duct cleaning process is two steps:
Step 1: Breaking the contaminants lose – After sealing your system, we use a rotobrush to break the contaminants lose from the surfaces of your air ducts. This is necessary as some particles become attached to the walls of your air ducts and can’t be loosened by air alone.
Step 2: Collection of Contaminants – During the cleaning process, we use a HEPA filtered vacuum to create negative pressure in your system and pull all the loosened contaminants out of your home into our sealed collection bags. Our process ensures that the dust, lint and hair does not become airborne and are not released back into your home once we are done cleaning.
Once your air ducts & vents are clean please consider a whole house air filtration & purification system. This will keep your air ducts & vents clean going forward and improve the overall air quality that your family breathes.
